HOT & SWEET WINGS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup of flour

  • 1 Tbs of garlic powder

  • 1 Tbs of onion powder

  • 1 pound of chicken wings

  • Salt & pepper

  • Coconut oil or avocado oil

  • 1 Tbs of honey

  • 1/2 Tbs of hot sauce

DIRECTIONS

Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and the salt & pepper in large bowl.

 

Heat up a cup of coconut oil in pan until melted. Once melted, pour oil over room temp chicken wings & mix.

Roll each individual chicken wing in the batter until fully coated.  

 

Once coated, place each chicken wing in the air fryer side by side (you may need to do a couple batches). Leave the chicken in the air fryer for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees, flipping halfway through.

While the wings are cooking, make the wing sauce. Add 2 tablespoons of coconut or avocado oil in a bowl. Then add the honey and hot sauce and mix. Place in microwave for 45 seconds or until the oil has completely melted.

 

Once wings are completed, dump the sauce over the wings and serve!
